Sea Buckthorn is a hardy shrub with orange – yellow barriers, in Uttarakhand it called Amesh and in Himachal and Jammmu & Kashmir it called Leh Barry. It founds above 10000 ft above Sea lavel in Uttrakhand and other Himalayan region including j&k, and Himachal Pradesh. It counts top super food in the entire world.
It is good source of Vitamins (A, C ,E K), carotenoids and fatty acid. Even seeds of Sea Buckthorn are 38% protein source. DRDO ( Defence Research And Devolopment Organisation) has make a research on Sea Buckthorn and said that it is the only fruit, who can fight against radiation very strongly. So here are some important facts about Sea Buckthorn.
